Does sunscreen have an expiration date?

I have a bottle of Banana Boat Sport Performance Broad Spectrum Sunscreen, SPF 50. I'm very sure that it's at least a year old, but I'm not certain as to its exact age. I live in Washington State and Spring is coming very early, so I need to use sunscreen because I spend much of my day outside. However, I can't find an expiration date anywhere on it. Does sunscreen have an expiration date, or does it not?

1. Yes, the medications in the sunscreen that cause it to block the sun can expire. I don't know how long it takes normally, but I've had some expire and I burned like crazy! Don't ya just love this Washington weather? I find it amazingly nice! Miss the snow, but I love early spring! :)
2. the older the product, the less effective it becomes. if you notice that you are burning while using the sunscreen, toss it & buy a new container.
