jet boats Water injection?

water injection to my bassett headers is for keeping the crome shinny? How important? I have the bassett T-fitting. Do i want a valve in line to pipes? Can I get water into cylinders from too much volume. Seems to me the orifaces in the pipes would limit the amount u cound get in the exaust. I want to make sure my water injection to my pipes is right. I buoght a 76 eliminator with454 chevy. the pipes were toast, He gave me brand new pipes. I put them on, wanna make sure its right befor I run it!

1. I am not quite sure of your question. I do not think the 454 uses any injected water. The circulation pump will circulate h20 supplied via RWP raw water pump - And then as it leaves the engine block it passes thru your exhaust manifold or Bassett system and then outboard with the exhaust - to also help quiet the noise level. The high pressure water - for propullsion - does not go thru engine or manifolds - it just gets sucked up and expelled out the Jet Nozzle.
