- As the flag on it says it is a Riva. very pricey
- It looks just like an American Chris Craft. We had a 1946 Chris Craft on Lake Geneva that looked very similar to this one. I don't think that they're building these boats anymore. They're solid Mahogany.
- They are called "slipper boats" as they have a similar shape to a slipper,,most are old and cost a fortune though some boat makers still make them but generally you`ll find them either around the Thames or on Mediterranean shores,
- This is a model of an older Riva Aquarama , probably early to mid 60s. The siren on the foredeck is an indication of the era. This is probably a Carlo Riva designed boat, with help from Giorgio Barilani. These boats are built in Sarnico, Italy, as they have been since the 1840s. Here is a picture of a 1965 model. http://www.classicboat.com/29-riva-34f-2006-039-8in.jpg
