Has anyone used Doel-fins on a 20HP Merc on a 14' aluminum boat? Any performance problems after installing?

1. yes if the engine is to low it will spray water in the back of the boat and get U wet.
2. On some smaller hulls, doel-fins really help, they add stability and help keep the bow down. As long as the motor is mounted and trimmed properly, there should be no problems. It would be nice to know the brand and model of the hull.
3. if your boat is underpowered or overweight, they might help. otherwise they're just masking symptoms better dealt with directly. . .
