A non-naturalistic scene of teenager asking girl out?

I need a scene in my Drama GCSE performance of a boy (round about 12 but it's not really a definite age) asking a girl out, but it can't be naturalistic (like Eastenders lol). We've already got lots of soundscape in our other scenes so we can't really use soundscape. I was thinking, very vaguely, of having them go through an imaginary one of those love rides - you know when you're in a boat and go through a big tunnel or something? Please help!

1. How about meeting a local diner (teen hangout). High school pep ralley, sports event, graveyard at night, walking dogs or jogging in a park, horseback riding, or swimming hole. Any of these help?
