Need troubleshooting tips for Boat (no cranking)... Batteries are fully charged. Any ideas? I have a 22' 1996 Regal I/O boat ... very reliable. Charged the batteries, won't start (no click, nothing). Voltage across battery terminals is fine, voltage is fine after battery selector switch (I have 2 batteries, can select Batt 1, Batt 2, or both), but when I get to the ignition switch voltage is down to nearly O. Clearly I have an open in the circuit somewhere. How do I find it? Is there anything else between the battery and the switch for the ignition? I will say that at one point I took off the Instrument Panel and briefly had full power to all electrical systems ... does this indicate that I have a loose connection or perhaps corrosion on the back of the IP itself?

Does anybody know anything about this boat? Shoud we negotiate on this boat? My husband and I have decided to buy a new Regal 2010 1900 bowrider. The local marina dealer is listing it at $28,995.00. It comes with the premier package (gel coat and some extra upgrades). Is this a good price for this? should we negotiate? this is the first time we have ever bought a boat so we wanted to know if we should negotiate with the marina dealer. We have been looking at boats for months and have decided on this one. is it a good boat? I have read a lot of good things on JD Power but would like some personal opinions. We have been boating for years, so we know how to do everything on a boat. We have used my father's boat for 5 years and now want our own...so dont need lessons. I just wanted to know if I should negotiate and more personal experiences with Regal.

Is this a big engine?? I have a 2004 1800 regal. It has a 4.3 litre V6 engine. it has got a ton of power but i was wondering if you think it is a big engine or not for and 18 footlong boat??
